What HyperOS 4 brings
- A glass-style interface with notification stacking, widget stacking and lock-screen styling; some of these are limited to select models.
- AI voice notes and speech tools, available only on select devices, regions and languages.
- Closer iPhone integration for sharing photos, files, contacts and web pages, as reported by GSMArena.
- Xiaomi’s own lab test on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra shows hot-launching 30 apps after nine hours of use taking 36.8 seconds, against 40.3 seconds on HyperOS 3 (a company figure, not independently tested).
What this means for you
The schedule is for global versions. Xiaomi calls it an estimate that can change by region, carrier and model, and no India-specific date is stated. Back up your phone, keep some free storage and check Settings for the update when your model’s month arrives.
