Poco has officially confirmed that the Poco M8 5G will launch in India on January 8. The company has also revealed that the smartphone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart, where a dedicated launch page is already live.
The Poco M8 5G is expected to feature a slim and modern design with a premium-looking back panel. Poco has confirmed that the phone will come with a 50MP primary rear camera, targeting users who want good photography performance in the budget 5G segment.
According to leaks, the device may offer a large AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, along with a Snapdragon chipset for smooth everyday performance and gaming. A large battery with fast charging support is also expected to be part of the package.
In addition to the standard model, reports suggest that Poco may also introduce a Poco M8 Pro 5G variant at a later stage. The Pro version is tipped to feature a more powerful processor, improved cameras, and other premium upgrades, positioning it above the regular M8 5G.
