Apple Secures 25% of China’s Smartphone Market on Strong iPhone 17 Demand

Apple captured a quarter of China’s smartphone market in October, fueled by exceptionally strong demand for the iPhone 17 series. The surge signals one of Apple’s strongest monthly performances in China in recent years, highlighting renewed consumer interest and competitive momentum.

The iPhone 17 lineup  including the base, Pro, and Pro Max models drove the majority of Apple’s sales, with each model showing solid month-on-month growth. The refreshed design and improved camera system played a major role in attracting Chinese buyers.

China’s overall smartphone market also expanded in October, and Apple’s gains stood out even as domestic brands continued to compete aggressively. The performance strengthens Apple’s position ahead of the holiday quarter.
