According to sources, Atul Ghatkamble, the peon, served as an intermediary and took ₹ 3 lakh in bribes intended for the two doctors who worked for the teen’s family.

The Pune Crime Branch detained Drs. Ajay Tawade and Hari Harnor of Sasoon Hospital yesterday.

According to the investigation, on the day of the accident, Dr. Tawade and the father of the adolescent accused had a phone conversation. “The juvenile’s father had called the doctor and offered him allurements to replace the blood samples,” according to authorities.

It has been learned that Dr. Taware has alluded to the replacement of the minor blood samples with doctor blood samples. The samples were switched, according to officials, to get rid of any alcohol residue.

“I refuse to remain silent. During the probe, he declared, “I’ll take everyone’s name.”

According to insiders, the physicians not only falsified the teen’s blood test results, but they also passed the physical exam without doing a thorough examination on him.

Amitesh Kumar, the commissioner of Pune Police, stated Tuesday that the hospital samples sent for forensic examination did not belong to the minor accused.

“On May 19, at approximately 11 a.m., a blood sample from the adolescent obtained at Sassoon Hospital was disposed of in a trash can, while another individual’s blood sample was obtained and forwarded to the forensic laboratory. Investigating further, we discovered that CMO Srihari Halnor had substituted this at the behest of Ajay Tawade, Head of the forensic medicine department at Sassoon Hospital,” Mr. Kumar had told the press.

Following the replacement of the minor’s blood samples, the report that was received on Sunday revealed no evidence of alcohol consumption.
